Dead Centre’s Christmas Market
On Sunday the 5th of December Dead Centre Brewing are hosting their second Christmas Market event after a sucessful launch in 2019. The market will be indoors with a wide selection of stalls displaying local art, food and crafts, a great festive event for all the family this December. They have tasty mince pies, face painting for the kids, mulled cider and hot chocolate.
Athlone Christmas Market
Athlone are running a Christmas Market on five dates this year in the medieval town core, on the two weekends before Christmas. Markets run on 11/12 December (Saturday/Sunday) and 17/18/19 December (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) from 10am to 5.30pm. Attractive wooden cabins and a twinkling Christmas tree transform Count John McCormack Civic Square into a winter wonderland full of Yuletide cheer.
Stallholders come from Athlone and its hinterland, and are an excellent combination of delicious festive foods, handmade chocolates, candles, crafts as well as seasonal flowers and wreaths. Hot chocolate and winter warmers will be available to keep everyone smiling.
Stallholders include Bastion Kitchen, Beans & Leaves, Praline Chocolates, Candles by Regina, A Room in Bloom and Dedanu Wellness Gifts. Athlone Christmas Market is supported by Athlone Chamber of Commerce and Westmeath County Council.
