The Summer Solstice has long been a time of reverence, renewal, and connection — and there’s no better place to honour it than the sacred Hill of Uisneach. With sweeping views across more than 20 counties, this ancient ceremonial site sets the stage for an evening of myth, meaning, and stillness in nature.
Join us from 7:30pm at the Uisneach carpark, where your journey begins. As the light lingers on the longest day of the year, ascend the hill for an evening filled with traditional storytelling, soft musical accompaniment, and shared reflection.
Bards will breathe life into ancient legends, while the setting sun casts golden light over the land. This is more than just an event — it’s a powerful pause in time.
Please arrive on time and have your QR code ready for check-in. Carpooling is encouraged due to limited parking, and note that dogs are not permitted, even on leads.
Since prehistoric times, the Hill of Uisneach has been a spiritual heartland, a place where people gathered to honour seasonal shifts and connect with the rhythms of the earth. Today, this tradition continues in a gentle, family-friendly way — rooted in heritage and alive with local culture.
Expect an atmosphere of warmth, stillness, and subtle ceremony. This is a chance to reconnect with the land, with community, and with yourself.
