For the first time ever, TEDx comes to the Midlands.
Join us at the Dean Crowe Theatre on Thursday, 12 February 2026.
Expect bold ideas, powerful talks, and inspiring conversations that spark change.
TEDxAthlone is an independently organised TED event hosted locally in Athlone.
The 2026 theme, “The Ripple Effect,” explores how one idea or action can transform everything.
Change begins with a small spark, a simple idea, or one courageous act.
From there, it spreads outward, reshaping communities, inspiring creativity, and impacting lives.
Nine influential speakers will share stories of personal, cultural, and regional transformation.
The event also features entertainment to celebrate this inaugural TEDxAthlone.
Attendees leave inspired with ideas and connections that resonate across the Midlands and beyond.
