Connaught Gardens Spooktacular Market – Family Halloween Fun in the Heart of the Community
Get ready for a fang-tastic afternoon of family fun at the Connaught Gardens Spooktacular Market on Sunday, 26th October, from 12 to 4 pm. This community event promises a magical mix of games, laughter, and Halloween treats for everyone to enjoy!
Join the Connaught Street Treasure Hunt and follow spooky clues around Connaught Street and Gardens to uncover hidden surprises. Pick up your clue sheet at the Swap Shop and see if you can solve them all!
Animal lovers can meet the adorable alpaca duo at the Get an Alpaca Selfie station — say hello to Old-Town Alpacas’ newest baby and capture a memorable photo.
Kids can also join the Hide and Seek challenge and spot the five Baby Fang, Batty Boo, Spelljaca, and Lil Wrap figures hidden around the market. Mark them off your sheet for a chance to win a prize!
Add a splash of colour to your day with Face Painting, where Happy Faces will be transforming little ones into spooky, silly, or sparkly characters.
Need a break? Relax in the Quiet Area, where you can chill on hay bales, explore the Spooktacular Garden, and play outdoor games.
Don’t miss the highlight of the day – the Halloween Fancy Dress Competition at 2 pm! Show off your best costume and meet the Connaught Street Witch. Winners will be announced at 3 pm with special prizes and treats for all.
