Dr Sketchy’s Athlone: Burlesque Life Drawing Experience

Dr Sketchy’s is far from a traditional art class. Combining life drawing, burlesque, cabaret and live entertainment, the event offers a relaxed and welcoming environment where participants can sketch glamorous performers while enjoying music, refreshments and a vibrant social atmosphere.

This Athlone edition will feature international burlesque stars Vita Devour and Audrey Love, both former champions of the Heart of Ireland Burlesque Festival. Attendees will have the opportunity to sketch these celebrated performers in a variety of poses throughout the session, while also enjoying a live performance from Vita Devour.

Whether you are an experienced artist, a casual doodler or someone who has never picked up a sketchbook before, Dr Sketchy’s welcomes all skill levels. The focus is on creativity, enjoyment and self-expression rather than formal artistic training. Participants are encouraged to bring their own sketching materials, although supplies will also be available for those who need them.
