Get ready for a night of soulful nostalgia as the Drifters Anniversary Tribute Tour rolls into Athlone for one unforgettable show! On Saturday 15th November, the Shamrock Lodge Hotel plays host to a live concert experience that celebrates the greatest hits of the golden age of soul.

A Celebration of Soul Icons

Direct from the USA, the Soul Icons Revival take to the stage. – Powerful vocals, polished choreography, and a full live band. Performing timeless classics by The Drifters, The Temptations, The Stylistics, Four Tops. The sound of legends like Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Sam Cooke, James Brown, Otis Redding, and many more.

Expect crowd favourites like Saturday Night at the Movies, My Girl, Tracks of My Tears, Uptight, Mustang Sally, Reach Out. The soundtrack of generations, performed live with passion and soul.

Special Guests

The evening features legendary New York vocalist John Chestdom. Joined by Dino and Gillie, who have been keeping the music of The Drifters alive for over 40 years. They’re now joined by Gamal John. (Finalist and Gold Buzzer winner of Britain’s Got Talent.) And delivering unforgettable renditions of the Stylistics, O’Jays, Barry White and more.

Opening the show is the charismatic Desi Egan, European Entertainer of the Year. Performing hits from Tom Jones, Tony Christie, Joe Dolan, ABBA, and others to get the crowd going!
