Moate Trad Fest – 8th June

Get ready for a toe-tapping, fun-filled afternoon as the Moate Town Team proudly presents Trad Fest on Sunday, 8th June! This vibrant event will celebrate Irish traditional music, community spirit, and local craftsmanship in the heart of Moate. Whether you’re a long-time lover of trad or just looking for a lively way to spend your Sunday, this is the perfect event for all ages.

The festival will take place along Main Street from 1pm to 6pm, transforming the town into a hub of cultural celebration. Expect live traditional Irish music with a rich blend of instruments, from fiddles and flutes to bodhráns and accordions – all creating an electric atmosphere that invites dancing, singing, and community cheer.

In addition to the music, the event will feature an array of craft stalls showcasing local talent. From handmade jewellery and homeware to unique art pieces and artisan gifts, you’ll have the chance to browse and buy beautiful items while supporting local creators.
