Mundy Live at Dead Centre Brewing Athlone

Dead Centre Brewing is set to welcome acclaimed Irish singer-songwriter Mundy for a special live performance on Friday, 27 March 2026, at Dead Centre Brewing in Athlone. Doors open at 7.00pm, with the event running through to 12.30am, promising an evening of outstanding live music in one of the Midlands’ most unique waterfront venues.

Originally from Birr in County Offaly, Mundy has built an impressive international career spanning decades. His music has taken him around the world, sharing stages with legendary performers including Bob Dylan, Neil Young and R.E.M.. A standout career moment also saw him perform at the White House during St Patrick’s Day celebrations for former US President Barack Obama.

Taking place at Custume Pier in the centre of Athlone, this intimate solo set offers audiences a rare chance to experience Mundy’s music up close. Expect a stripped-back performance filled with storytelling, acoustic favourites and well-known hits delivered in an atmospheric brewery setting.

Support on the night comes from Radio 90s, warming up the crowd ahead of the headline performance. Seating is available on a first come, first served basis, so early arrival is recommended to secure a spot and enjoy the award-winning craft beer selection before the show begins.
