Ranganna Gaeilge i nGaeltacht Átha Luain – Snug Bar, Meán Fómhair 2025
Gaeltacht Átha Luain is delighted to announce a brand-new six-week Irish language course, taking place this autumn in the welcoming setting of the Snug Bar, Athlone. Running from the 11th of September to the 16th of October 2025, these beginner-friendly evening classes will be held every Thursday from 8.00pm to 9.00pm.
The course offers a relaxed and supportive environment for anyone who would like to start speaking Irish or refresh what they already know. Whether you learned a little Gaeilge at school or are completely new to the language, this course will give you the confidence to use everyday Irish in conversations.
Led by enthusiastic facilitators, each class will focus on practical speaking skills, useful vocabulary, and a gentle introduction to grammar. The emphasis is on enjoyment and participation, making learning Irish a social experience rather than a classroom exercise.
Taking place in the cosy atmosphere of the Snug Bar, participants will have the chance to connect with others who share an interest in Irish culture, language, and community. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our heritage while building friendships in a lively local space.
