Seans Bar is delighted to welcome everyone back for its much loved Annual Christmas Carols Night on Saturday 14 December. This festive evening has become a cherished tradition for locals and visitors who gather to enjoy good company, heart warming music and the true spirit of Christmas in one of Ireland’s most historic pubs.
Festivities begin from 6pm when the first notes of seasonal music fill the bar and set the tone for a relaxed and joyful evening. Guests who arrive early can settle in with friends, while those who join later can still expect an atmosphere full of warmth laughter and Christmas cheer.
At 8.30pm the wonderful Bowtie Band will lead the crowd in a vibrant and uplifting carol session. Their rich harmonies and lively performance style make them a favourite every year. They never fail to bring the room together in full festive voice. Classic carols and timeless Christmas favourites will feature throughout with plenty of opportunities for everyone to sing along.
Throughout the night there will be a special sale of Christmas hats bringing extra sparkle to the event. Raffle tickets will also be available with all proceeds in aid of Athlone Sub Aqua Club, whose dedicated volunteers provide vital support and safety services within the community. Every purchase supports their ongoing work so all guests are encouraged to take part.
