SpringRISE 2026 Empowering Women in Research Innovation and Enterprise
SpringRISE women innovation Athlone is a high-impact in-person event created to support women leading in research innovation and enterprise. From the outset SpringRISE women innovation Athlone focuses on connection collaboration and real progress. The event takes place at the Sheraton Athlone Hotel on Thursday 5 February 2026 and welcomes female founders researchers and innovation leaders from across Ireland.
Firstly the event is hosted by Technological University of the Shannon Research Development and Innovation. It brings together female-led businesses at every stage. Early-stage founders gain clarity while scaling ventures access support to move forward with confidence. As a result attendees leave with practical tools actionable insight and stronger networks.
Throughout the day SpringRISE women innovation Athlone highlights real leadership journeys. Speakers share how they actively navigate challenge bias and high-pressure environments. Importantly the programme focuses on resilience decision-making and long-term growth. Panel discussions encourage honest conversation while structured networking builds meaningful connections.
Moreover the event showcases soft supports financial pathways skills development and collaboration opportunities. These supports help female-led ventures progress faster and with greater certainty. Consequently participants gain a clearer view of the innovation ecosystem and how to engage with it effectively.
SpringRISE is delivered in partnership with First Polymer Training Skillnet iTag Skillnet Space Industry Skillnet and Midlands Women in Tech. In addition the event forms part of the TUS RISE initiative. This initiative is co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union through the ERDF Southern Eastern and Midland Regional Programme 2021–27.
