Looking for a creative night out in Athlone this autumn? Join Alex and Barbara for Stitch & Sip: Autumn Edition, a relaxing embroidery workshop taking place at Dead Centre Brewing on Thursday, 8th October at 6:30pm.
This cosy and welcoming workshop is suitable for all skill levels, from complete beginners picking up a needle for the first time to experienced stitchers looking to enjoy an evening of creativity. Guided by Alex and Barbara, participants will learn embroidery techniques while creating their own beautiful autumn-inspired piece to take home.
Drawing inspiration from the colours and textures of the season, the workshop offers the perfect opportunity to slow down, unwind and enjoy a mindful creative experience. All materials are provided, so there is no need to bring anything along—simply arrive ready to relax, learn and create.
Hosted in the warm and friendly surroundings of Dead Centre Brewing, guests can enjoy a drink while stitching, socialising and connecting with fellow craft enthusiasts. Whether you are looking to try a new hobby, spend quality time with friends or enjoy a unique evening out, this workshop combines creativity, conversation and community in a relaxed setting.
The event costs €40 per person, with all materials provided and one drink included in the ticket price. By the end of the evening, you’ll leave with a handmade autumn-themed keepsake and the confidence to continue exploring embroidery at home.
