Ideal for angling, boating, wind-surfing, sailing and especially canoeing, this park is bordered by a 500 meter stretch of the Breensford trout river. It is a convenient base for visiting the famous monastic settlement of Clonmacnoise, scenic walks, daily cruises on the River Shannon, golfing, horse riding and sailing locally. The site is located 2 miles from access to The Old Rail Trail, too.

On site, there is a recreation room with pool table and darts board, a basic campers kitchen and a pub located within a 2 min walk. Onsite there are toilets & a shower block. Accessible toilet and shower facilities are available. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the park.
