Spill the Beans has opened its doors, eager to share a passion for great coffee with the community. Every cup is carefully sourced from Coffee Perfection, ensuring a high-quality brew in every sip.

Born out of resilience and Irish spirit, the journey began four years ago during the challenges of 2021. What started as a simple idea quickly became a beloved part of the local coffee scene. In their first year, they set up at Athlone GAA Club every Sunday morning and the Regional Sports Centre on other days. As word spread about their warm atmosphere and expertly brewed coffee, they became a familiar sight at community events. Before long, they were the go-to coffee crew for local gatherings and served at the Lough Ree Yacht Club during the vibrant summer months.

Their adventure didn’t stop there. Recognising the growing love for their coffee, they expanded to new locations, including the Athlone campsite, where campers and visitors could enjoy a fresh brew in the heart of nature. But their biggest milestone yet has been finding a permanent home. Now, they are thrilled to welcome coffee lovers to their very own coffee shop at 3 Castle Street, Athlone. Here, you can enjoy their signature brews in a cosy and inviting space—no need to wait for summer to get your favourite cup!

From humble beginnings as a coffee trailer to this exciting new chapter, Spill the Beans remains dedicated to creating moments of warmth and connection over a great cuppa. Whether you’re a regular or visiting for the first time, they can’t wait to share their love of coffee with you.
