This winter, Athlone welcomes you to the Heartlands Winter Pride Festival, an unforgettable weekend celebrating diversity, inclusion, and the vibrant spirit of Pride! From November 29 to December 1, 2024, join us for an array of exciting events around Athlone. Experience live entertainment, community gatherings, and endless opportunities to connect and celebrate with friends, new and old.
Festival Events and Highlights
The festival features a variety of events across Athlone, designed for everyone to enjoy. The festival’s highlight event is the Heartlands Pride After Party at Maisie’s Athlone on November 29. Doors open at 9 PM for an exciting evening with performances from The Haus of KWEN, As Above So Below, Disgraceful Cabaret, Sassy Weef, Domino, and Liadh. Tickets are €20 (18+) and can be purchased on Eventbrite.

In addition to the main event, enjoy a weekend packed with social activities, including daytime meetups and pop-up shows. There will be spaces throughout Athlone to gather, share stories, and celebrate the spirit of Pride in a warm, welcoming environment.
