If you’re looking for fitness and outdoor adventure for all the family, why not visit the regional sports centre fitness park.
The fitness complex includes a children’s playground with sand play, a skate park, outdoor gym for children and adults, climbing pyramid net, a half-basketball court, picnic area, sensory garden, five-a-side soccer cages, pedal carting and more!
The outdoor facility for skateboarders, in line skates bmx’rs, is the only facility of its kind in the Midlands. If you are over 10 and you want to give it a go, safety helmets can be rented for a small fee.
Why not take a family trip and walk the 2.5km trail with golden gravel while the kids explore all that the park has to offer. Younger children can enjoy the wooden playground which will immerse their senses and inspire creativity, the soft golden sand will keep them entertained for hours!
As skateboarding, biking and skating are hazardous recreational activities accidents do occur. All participants are strongly advised to wear fully protective equipment while using the facility. Facility will close in the event of wet or icy weather.
